Complain and advise from A McCain fan

I would like to see more of McCain, his townhall meetings, press conferences, speeches etc. I would like to watch these materials live preferably, or just taped. The lame duck media never cover's these events they are too busy licking Obama's arse, and here is some advise for McCain, it's something of a prescription 1. How does McCain's economic policy differ from Bush's and Obama's. We know it is substantially different from Obama's but that in and of itself is not sufficient this election cycle, he has to magnify it's difference from the Bush policy too. 2. How will he help the middle and lower middle class, the federalist way, ultimately this campaign will be about ideas, and he needs to excite people around his ideas, he does not need to be animated about it, American's know a good idea when they hear one.3. Do the usual compare and contrast. 4. Scare the folks based on truth and facts, because the facts are on McCain's side, there are legitimate grounds for worry about Obama, articulate them with class. If he does the above he will win the election, the best way to beat Obama is to make him look small, and McCain can do that. Another weapon McCain has to beat Obama,  is Obama himself. He has made so many contradictory statements, these can be used against him, these hurt his credibility. Use footage of the votes he has cast on the senate floor, votes that hurt his credibilty.

BIRDS OF A FEATHER

Birds of a feather flock together, Obama and Edwards are like the two birds. Edwards will be fine, and will come out of this crisis because he is owning up to it. To me Obama is the more deceptive one, simply because he is much better than Edwards ever was,  at hiding his true colors.

OBAMA ON VACATION

Obama goes on vacation just after polls come out suggesting that people are getting tired of him. What a campaign, I guess they must sit and read the polls, watch cable news, to figure out what to do next, what a machine ?.

BOTHWAYSBARACK THE KING OF GOING BOTH WAYS

Obama is the king of going both ways, and how do the liberals defend him, by pointing out that McCain is the same. They seem to forget the crucial distinction, McCain has never shifted positions solely for votes. Obama will take both positions on any issue as long as it gets him the votes, and yet half of the people support him.

Biil O reilly on McCain

In last night's memo, Bill cited McCain's vote on alternative fuels, so I did some fact checking, turns out that it was a strict party line vote, so if McCain is being disingenous so are the rest of the Republicans up on the Hill who want the comprehensive approach. I think Bill misses the point, at the end of the day it really does not matter what his past votes were, as long as we believe his plans for the future, and he is being honest about the future. The same can't be said of Obama for obvious reasons. If it were about votes, McCain would have changed his mind on ANWR too, after all, more than 50% want drilling in Alaska. When McCain changed his position on Offshore drilling, the polls in favor of offshore drilling were the same as it is now, for drilling in ANWR, so why is he not changing on ANWR ?. Also the price of gas at that time was greater than 4.00 dollars.  So, the point here is, why does one change positions, is it purely for political reasons, or is it for a combination of political expediency and honesty. I think in McCain's case it is the latter, and in Obama's case it is the former, but I could be wrong.

AN OBAMA FLIP FLOP AND A MCCAIN FLIP FLOP

Tthe weezle flip flop's for votes, while McCain flip flops because it is the right thing to do, If it were about votes he would have changed on ANWR too, but he hasn't, why you ask, because he thinks it it not the right thing to do at this time. He hasn't changed his mind on immigration, he is still for a pathway to citizenship, may be right or wrong, but he thinks a pathway is the right thing to do. He still hasn't backed of from public financing, why, because he things it is the right thing to do. I could go on and on, and make the case that, if McCain flips flops, then he does it because it is the right thing to do, and not for votes, like the weezle. Some conservatives say he is self righteous and stubborn, if that were true why would he change his mind on off shore drilling. At the end of the day I think McCain reaches a position after deliberation, and  not ego.

OBAMA AND DRILLING

I told you so...I knew the change of heart on drilling would come, as I have been saying all along about Obama, with this weezle it's all about the VOTES.

Election '08 and the movie 'Gone with the Wind'

Election '08  reminds me of the movie Gone With TheWind. The chick in the movie thinks she likes one guy when infact she likes the guy she knew all along, and ends up with him or something. This election is the same way, the media and the people are fawning over Obama, they think Obama is the right choice when in fact it may be the guy we knew all along, the old guy, who may actually hold the key to Americas future.Unfortunately, the people ain't as smart as the chick in the movie, so this election won't end like the way the movie does.

Congratulations President Obama

I would like to congratulate President Obama on running a great campaign, also the Media for doing a great job supporting his campaign. As for McCain, I am sure he has a lot to offer in the senate. The country has moved left. It does not matter how great a campaign McCain runs, this election is done and dusted.

Voting for Obama

Voting for Obama would require you to ignore the following FACTS,:
1. Does style erase the fact that he is the most inexperienced senator to run the for presidency
2. Does style erase the fact  he has shifed positions, and made contradictory statements on more than half a dozen issues, we will need a counter to keep track. He will shift on drilling too, shortly.
3. Does style erase the fact that the thesis of his primary campaign was an absolute deception. Facts would indicate that the primary slogan of change, was an absolute deception /He moved to the centre on more than 6 issues, even to the fact that his liberal base was annoyed with him . Will the voters punish him for it. Can he be trusted after all this. He acted just like an ordinary politician, no change here. There is no concrete evidence that he will be post partisan. All he has are words.
4. Does style erase the fact that he has the most liberal voting record in the senate. Has America moved so far to the left that they agree with his liberal policies of big government, centralized health care, no drilling, the list is endless.

Why aren't the conservatives pointing all this out. Media keeps talking about how presendential he looks as if that is the most important criteria to be president. Media makes it seem as though this trip to Europe, was the only thing Obama was lacking and now that he has taken care of that, he should be president.

The way to beat Obama

The way to beat Obama, is to turn his strength into a weakness, i.e., his own words and speeches. Sound bytes from the senate floor, when he voted against and for troop funding. It is not enough to say Obama voted this way or that, it might be more effective if the actual sound byte from the senate floor was used when his vote was read aloud. The footage of speeches he has made contradicting himself. The Obama Iraq war documentary is an example. We need more adverts like that, only shorter. The McCain supporters in the media should rip apart his policies. He his against drilling. McCain should make more of the fact that Obama and co. do not even allow a vote on drilling, they should make an advert out of it. His liberal voting record should be exposed, using, like I said, sound bytes from the senate floor. I am sure those sound bytes exist. His lack of experience should be exposed using concrete examples. Moments when he chose to make the wrong decision due to lack of experience. For example, his postion on the surge, negotiation with rogue states.

all fluff no stuff

Too much style little substance, all fluff no stuff, I am getting sick of Obama, and his stooge the media. This election is a total waste of time and totally one sided.

Campaign of deception and distraction

The central thesis of the Obama campaign is the Bush-McCain mantra, unfortunately for them the facts suggest otherwise, and yet, they lead in the polls albeit by a narrow margin. I would argue that this narrow lead in the polls and a wider one in the electoral college, is a testament to thier well crafted campaign of deception and distraction, and they have had all the help in the world, thanks to the media. Lliberal consultants like Chris Convinnus, Alan Colmes, channels like MSNBC, CNN, the print media, the list is endless, I call them the 'tools' of deception, have done an amazing job in deceiving the American people, and it looks like a narrow margin is buying it hook line and sinker. O Reilly put it brilliantly, this campaign and its stooge the media is a dog and pony show that is being ridden straight to the whitehouse. One of the statistics the liberals site, is the 95% convergence in the voting patterns of McCain and Bush, but one can also site the 100% convergence you might see if we were to compare the voting patterns of Obama and Jimmy Carter, what does that say about Obama's policies. The reason why there is convergence is because of shared principles. I hope the American people take a step back and think about the issues and who offers the best solutions, and vote accordingly. The effectiveness of the Obama campaign is predicated upon a reactionary and thoughtless vote, cast in opposition to Bush, and the state of the economy. To me this election is not about Obama or McCain, it is about how smart Americans are. Will they vote for failed liberal ideas of a centralized monolithic approach in reaction to the last 8 yrs of Bush, or will they vote for conservative ideas of a distributed, market based approach after a process of deliberation.  I would point out that the economy is in it's current state, precisely because conservative principles  were  not correctly applied. Inflationary pressures, global phenomenon, lack of spending discipline where I might add McCain scores very well, lack of balanced regulation, are some of the reasons why the economy is where it is. The Obama campaign does not want you to think about these things.A  few thoughts on McCain, the only word that comes to mind is pity, and why you may ask, the reason is simple, he is stuck between a rock and a hard place. For the conservatives he is not conservative enough, not like Bush, for the Obama campaign and its stooge, he is just like Bush, which is a lie. So what is he to do, I would argue there is nothing he can do. It is completely upto to the American people, whether they buy the Obama campaign or not. I hope the conservatives and the independents point out the deception but I am not expecting much from them because they want McCain to lose. So this is upto the folks, and thier intelligence. My advise to the McCain campaign is to just ride out the election and hope for the best. It is sad that such a great American war hero is being cast aside because he is a moderate, tells you a lot about the country we live in.
